Here’s what you should know:

1. Tenet holds the annual campaign to support Feeding America through June 8.

2. As part of the initiative, Tenet will match up to $100,000 of donations to Feeding America.

3. Last year, Tenet’s weeklong campaign collected more than 3.2 million servings of cereal and raised more than $310,000.

4. Tenet CNO Sally Hurt-Deitch said, “Too often we see patients in our hospitals and outpatient centers, particularly children, who are struggling with the effects of hunger. Summer is an especially hard time for food-insecure children because they can no longer rely on their schools for meals. We know that good health starts with good nutrition, which is why Tenet is proud to host its annual Healthy Over Hungry Cereal Drive during the first week of June.”

5. All Tenet facilities are participating in the drive and hosting food and donation drives to benefit local nonprofit food banks.
