SCA partners with Surgery Center of Athens, MFC stock rises 1.7% & more — 5 key notes on ASC companies

Here are five updates on ASC companies.

Surgical Care Affiliates partnered with the 13 physicians of Surgery Center of Athens (Ga.). The partnership went into effect Dec. 1. Through the partnership, SCA gained three locations in Georgia.

During the third quarter, Surgical Care Affiliates reported net patient revenues of $15.8 million. Management fee revenues reached $5.1 million, up from $3.6 million in the same period the year prior.

Medical Facilities Corp. shares reached $14.78, up 1.65 percent. The company has a market cap of $461.38 million.

During the week of Dec. 7 to Dec. 11, Hospital Corporation of America shares hit $66.30 per share, down 1.34 percent.

Surgery Partners’ net revenue for surgical facility services hit $219.6 million and ancillary services reached $16.3 million in the third quarter.
