Salinas Valley Memorial opens new health clinic: 5 points

Salinas (Calif.) Valley Memorial Healthcare System opened its new health clinic, Taylor Farms Family Health & Wellness Center, according to The Californian.

Here are five points:

1. SVMHS collaborated with family medicine physician Christine Ponzio, MD, of Gonzales Medical Group to build the clinic.

2. The 6,400-square-foot clinic will handle more than 25,000 visits annually.

3. Patients can visit the clinic for physicals, diabetes screening, diagnoses, immunizations and laboratory services among other offerings.

4. The Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation raised $3 million for the clinic’s construction.
