Regent Surgical Health promotes 4 leadership positions

Regent Surgical Health promoted four team members to new leadership positions.

"Across all Regent departments, we're developing the best talent in the industry," said Tom Mallon, CEO of Regent Surgical Health. "These well-deserved promotions will help us better serve our existing physician and hospital partners as well as lead our company into its new era of growth."

Here are the four leadership promotions:

1. Kathleen Bernicky, RN, is promoted to vice president of risk management and clinical operations where she'll oversee risk management and clinical operations for Regent facilities. She'll also oversee patient safety activities as well as serve on the ASC Quality Collaboration Committee.

2. Christine Henry Musa is promoted to vice president of development/analytics where she'll be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain for the nationwide network of surgery centers, developing and executing strategies and tactics to drive cost reduction, increased productivity and adoption of the best practices. She will oversee strategic business development opportunities with physicians and hospitals and oversee the company's ethics and compliance program.

3. Michael Orseno is promoted to vice president of revenue cycle management where he'll oversee all revenue cycle management operations for the company's centers. He'll manage billing and collections services and enhance the RCM process for independent surgery centers.

4. Andrea Woodell is promoted to vice president of managed care where she'll oversee annual negotiations of payer contracts for Regent facilities. She'll work collaboratively with Regent's hospital partners to support and facilitate managed-care contracts.

Chris Bishop was hired as the company's new president where he will help lead the company into the next phase of growth. He'll also oversee the company's day-to-day operations and partnerships, and he'll develop and execute marketing strategies for continued long-term growth.
