Physicians Surgery Center in Tennessee to add 14k square feet: 5 key notes

A Jackson, Tenn.-based orthopedic practice is partnering with an ASC for expansion, according to a report in The Jackson Sun.

Here are five things to know:

1. West Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic partnered with Physicians Surgery Center to expand the ASC.

2. The expansion will add 14,000 square feet to the facility, creating a 25,000-square-foot, dual-use facility when the project is complete.

3. The Physicians Surgery Center opened in 1995 and focused on eye care. Now the center offers orthopedics, pain management, plastics and urology as well.

4. The building's expansion will incorporate LED lights that change color and a new entrance with a circle drive to improve access to care.

5. The expansion is expected to take 18 months and include additional privacy suites and an expanded family waiting room.
