Here are four takeaways:

1. The report found the demand for PAs outweighed that of specialist physicians in 2015.

2. The three most-placed providers were family medicine, internal medicine and hospitals.

3. PAs ranked fourth among the most-placed providers.

4. In 2015, PAs surpassed pediatrics for fourth place despite not placing in the top five the year prior.
