Overlook Medical Center in Summit, N.J., has upgraded its radiosurgery system, according to NJBIZ.
Here are three key notes:
1. The system is a treatment method used for tumors of the brain, spine, lung, liver, pancreas and prostate.
2. Known as the CyberKnife surgery system, the technology is non-invasive and generally used for more complex surgeries.
3. Overlook adopted the system in 2004, and was the first northeast center to do so.
