One dead after couple attempts to rob a Las Vegas physician’s office: 5 key notes

A woman tried to rob a Las Vegas physician’s office and wound up dead, according to a Las Vegas Sun report.

Here are five key notes:

1. A man and woman with face coverings entered a Las Vegas physician’s office during an evening appointment and attempted robbery.

2. A potential motive was stealing money and/or drugs. The office staff report being held at gunpoint and the physician was pistol-whipped.

3. One of the office employees retrieved a gun from his car and confronted the suspects in the office parking lot. The office employee fired on the female suspect.

4. The physician and injured woman were taken to University Medical Center. The physician had nonlife-threatening facial injuries, but the female suspect died.

5. The male suspect accompanying the female suspect escaped.
