Olympia (Wash.) Orthopaedic Associates was among the first 5 percent of providers in the U.S. to offer outpatient joint replacements in an ASC when the program launched 2.5 years ago; since then, the practice's surgeons have performed more than 450 outpatient joint replacements in the ASC.

The outpatient joint replacement program at Olympia Surgery Center allows patients to recover at home with reduced infection risk and lower costs. Olympia Orthopaedic Associates have 21 physicians focused on joint replacement, neurosurgery, pain management, trauma, general orthopedics and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Olympia surgeons continue to offer same-day and next-day joint replacements in the hospital setting as well as the ASC.
