OIC ASC receives $100k donation

The Los Angeles-based Orthopedic Institute for Children Ambulatory Surgery Center has received a pledge of $100,000 over the next nine years from the Charitable Children's Guild, according to a report from La Cañada Valley Sun.

The nonprofit CGG, which consists of a core organization and several auxiliary organizations dedicated to assisting children who have experienced trauma injuries, partners with OIC to sustain and grow programs allowing children to receive orthopedic medical care. The organization will raise the pledge money for the OIC through various fundraisers.

According to the website, because of the partnership with its charitable arm, no child has ever been turned away at the OIC due to financial reasons.
