Here are five recent news updates on ambulatory surgery center companies.

AmSurg has installed 17 femtosecond lasers in its centers since 2012. The centers with the lasers grew at a 3 percent higher rate than centers without the lasers.

The Nashville Business Journal named Vivere Health one the fastest-growing private companies in Middle Tennessee.

Zacks upgraded Surgical Care Affiliates stock to a "neutral" rating, according to a WRKRB News & Analysis report.

Hospital Corporation of America stock traded at $73.85 per share during the week of Sept. 15 to Sept. 19, up 2.68 percent.

Tenet Healthcare stock traded at $63.27 per share during the week of Sept. 15 to Sept. 19, up 2.83 percent.
