HealthStream introduces ‘smarter’ user experience: 5 things to know

HealthStream, a provider of workforce, patient experience and provider solutions in healthcare, has designed a new platform interface that is mobile-friendly for healthcare professionals.

Here are five things to know:

1. The platform combines a visual workflow with a responsive web design, allowing users to access it via mobile devices.

2. More than 350,000 healthcare professionals have started using the smarter user experience.

3. Eight HealthStream teams built the platform in 22 months and 48 healthcare organizations performed 200 usability studies before it was launched to the public.

4. The design revolved around user-centricity, mobile compatibility and usability on multiple platforms and operating systems.

5. The smarter experience allows finger-tip control on mobile devices.

“There are many intelligent design features in the new interface that take into account our specific healthcare workflow patterns, making our user experience on the platform efficient, enjoyable and instinctive,” said Laurene Skogrand, system manager of online learning at Providence Health & Services.
