Grant Medical Center halts services at surgery center following bomb threat

An Ohio Health spokesperson said Columbus police conducted a sweep at Columbus-based Grant Medical Center following a written bomb threat found Oct. 9, according to 10 TV.

Here's what you should know:

1. Police swept the hospital a second time for cautionary purposes and then gave an all clear at 11 a.m. this morning.

2. Following the signal, the bomb squad left the hospital.

3. Grant Medical Center delayed service at its heart surgery center due to the threat.

4. The hospital also moved patients from its emergency room to other hospitals during that time.
