2. An employee in the contact lens department, Ms. Ward admitted to creating fraudulent credit card returns for over $75,000 in merchandise and depositing the funds directly into her personal bank account.
3. State prosecutors agreed to recommend a five-year prison sentence in exchange for Ms. Ward’s guilty plea. Her sentencing is scheduled for July 26.
