Rebecca Stark, MD, and Jacob Stephenson, MD, are the newest additions to Shriners Hospitals for Children’s pediatric surgery program.
Here are five highlights:
1. These additions come just one year after the initial launch of Shriners’ pediatric surgery program.
2. Dr. Stark is a general surgeon and candidate member of the American Pediatric Surgeon Association. Her clinical interests include intestinal disorders and appendicitis.
3. Dr. Stark completed her fellowship in pediatric surgery at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
4. Dr. Stephenson is a lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force Medical Corps. He has published on a variety of surgical topics, including abdominal surgery and treating a type of thoracic malformation.
5. The pediatric surgery program at the Northern California Shriners Hospital for Sick Children serves children with complex gastro-intestinal disorders, complex anorectal disorders and complex chest wall disorders.
