Dr. Adam Sise joins Eyecare Medical Group: 5 key notes

Adam Sise, MD, an ophthalmologist, joined Eyecare Medical Group in Portland, Maine.

Here are five key notes on Dr. Sise:

1. He has a special interest in refractive surgery, including Bladeless LASIK, and diagnoses and treats corneal disease. He uses both traditional cornea surgery and transplant techniques as well as advanced techniques like DSAEK.

2. He earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed an ophthalmology residency at Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C.

3. Dr. Sise is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member or the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

4. In addition to his regular practice, Dr. Sise also provides lens implants, including toric lens implants for astigmatism and multifocal lens implants, as well as cataract surgery.

5. The practice includes several locations and an AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center.
