Boca Raton, Fla.-based Cohen Laser & Vision Center now offers patients the Kamra Corneal Inlay procedure, The Boca Raton Tribune reports.
Here's what you should know:
1. G. Richard Cohen, MD, has performed more than 70 Kamra procedures since October 2017. He claims to be one of few providers in the country offering the procedure.
2. The in-office procedure offers middle-aged patients a long-term corrective vision solution.
3. The corrective procedure is suitable "for patients who want to decrease their dependency on glasses or contacts as their eyes naturally age," Dr. Cohen said.
