Casetabs raises $2.6M in Series A financing: 4 key notes

The digital healthcare company Casetabs, which released a popular surgery coordination app last year, has completed its first round of financing.

Here are four key notes:

1. In its Series A equity financing round, Casetabs raised $2.6 million. Casetabs will use this financing for ASC market expansion.

2. The company’s anchor investor was Evolution Financial Group.

3. Casetabs’ surgery coordination app, which was released in 2015, provides a simple way for physicians to organize information and updates about surgery cases.

4. The app is already used by ASCs around the country. It has coordinated more than 50,000 surgeries since its release.
