Carolina Surgical Center reaches 25th anniversary: 5 things to know

Carolina Surgical Center in Rock Hill, S.C., has reached a quarter of a century milestone, according to The Herald.

Here are five things to know about the surgery center.

1. Carolina Surgical Center performed 936 procedures the first year it opened.

2. Last year, the center performed 5,200 procedures, according to the report.

3. The ASC is a joint venture with Tenet Healthcare and Piedmont Medical Center, also in Rock Hill.

4. ENT physician Gregory Parsons, MD, is the medical director of the center.

5. The center offers ENT, gynecology, plastics, dental, pain management, general surgery, ophthalmology, podiatry and urology procedures.
