AmSurg’s market cap totals $3.67B; Tenet shares plummet 8.9% & more — 6 key notes on ASC companies

Here are six updates on ambulatory surgery management companies from the past week.

AmSurg had a market cap of $3.67 billion on Oct. 6. The shares have a P/E ratio of 20.86.

Jeffries analysts gave Surgical Care Affiliates shares a “hold” rating. Jeffries also has a $49 price target on SCA shares.

During the week of Oct. 3 to Oct. 7, Tenet Healthcare shares fell 8.9 percent, trading at $20.70 per share.

On Oct. 6, Surgery Partners shares opened at $47.64. The shares have a market cap. of $1.91 billion.

Hospital Corporation of America shares traded at $74.23 per share during the week of Oct. 3 to Oct. 7, down 1.9 percent.

Royal Bank of Canada reaffirmed their “outperform” rating on Medical Facilities Corp. shares. MFC has a 200-day moving average of $18.76.
