Oregon Vascular Specialists building new surgery center
Vascular surgeons Jason Jundt, MD, and Wayne Nelson, MD, are building a new surgery center in Bend, Ore. The 11,000-square-foot facility is scheduled to be complete in June. The building will feature offices and an ASC with two operating rooms.

CMS created a new voluntary inpatient and outpatient bundled payment model, Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Advanced. Participants will have to redesign care delivery to restrain Medicare expenditures into a defined budget, while also improving on or maintaining performance on specific quality measures. The participants are also required to use certified EHR technology.

Wilmington, Ohio-based CMH Regional Health System will acquire Cincinnati-based Southwest Ohio Gastroenterology and Clinton County Outpatient Surgery in Wilmington, effective Feb. 1. CMH is acquiring the group's three Ohio offices.
