5 key points on HealthPartners’ partnership with Premier

Here are five key points:

1. Per the five-year agreement, Premier, a healthcare improvement company, will provide HealthPartners with group purchasing services and integrated supply chain analytics.

2. Premier will support HealthPartners’ holistic cost management strategy via its supply chain and performance improvement data management services.

3. The agreement allows HealthPartners to access PremierConnect Supply Chain, a service suite which enables users to integrate, monitor, plan and manage supply chain and financial work streams.

4. As the largest consumer-governed nonprofit healthcare organization in the United States, HealthPartners serves more than 1.5 million medical and dental health plan members.

5. “A leader in health improvement and clinical excellence, HealthPartners chose Premier for greater visibility into cost and spend patterns across its entire care system,” said Michael J.
