4 ways ASCs can help teams adopt new technology

Adopting new technology can be daunting task for ASC staff, according to Lakewood, Colo.-based Pinnacle III. Pinnacle III shared four key tips to help staff overcome technology resistance on their blog.

The key details to know:

1. Tweak the training process to help staff get accustomed to the new technology. Developing an individualized training process to specific members helps staff spend more time with people who may not be as tech-savvy.

2. Informing staff about plans for the new technology can help build team support.

3. Ask the vendor to visit your ASC for new technology demonstrations and allow staff to ask questions.

4. Celebrate achievements such as "go live" dates by providing lunches and other rewards to staff.
