These 28 physician-owned hospitals received 92 percent or more of their patients reporting on HCAHPS surveys that they would definitely recommend the hospital; the national average is 72 percent.

The numbers were pulled from CMS’ Hospital Compare website with data compiled from July 2015 through June 2016, the most recent data available. The hospitals with fewer than 100 completed surveys weren’t considered for the list.
