The top states with the most active physicians per 100,000 population are:

1. Massachusetts: 432.4
2. Maryland: 370.6
3. New York: 353.8
4. Rhode Island: 346.5
5. Connecticut: 337.8
6. Vermont: 337.7
7. Maine: 313.8
8. Pennsylvania: 306.4
9. New Hampshire: 300.3
10. Hawaii: 296.5
