Yale-New Haven Health System opens outpatient center — 3 notes

Yale-New Haven (Conn.) Health System opened its new outpatient center, the Park Avenue Medical Center, according to the Trumbull Times.

Here are three notes:

1. The new outpatient center is three stories and 100,000 square feet.

2. The outpatient center will house new and expanded services of Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital, Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven, Conn., Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital and Northeast Medical Group in Stratford, Conn.

3. The center includes an outpatient surgery center, gastroenterology suite and the Norma Pfriem Healing Garden for patients and families.
