WVU Medicine to open $29M surgery center

West Virginia University Medicine, based in Morgantown, has broken ground on a new outpatient surgery center, according to The DPost.

The new, $29 million facility will house four operating rooms and four endoscopy procedure rooms, according to the report. The surgery center, slated for completion in 2017, will be located near WVU Medicine’s new primary care facility.
