Here’s what you should know:
1. Developers expect the medical building and surgery center will be complete in June 2018.
2. The project is a joint venture between Athens-Limestone Hospital, OrthoSports Athens (Ala.) and Inkana Development.
3. The building’s 80,000 square feet will be leased out to several tenants who will set up clinics in the building. The space is completely leased.
4. The surgery center itself will have four operating rooms when it opens, with space for more in the future.
