New OK Surgery Center in Edmond Expected to Open in 2013

A new outpatient surgery center for Edmond, Okla., is expected to be completed in summer 2013, according to an Oklahoman report.

The surgery center is included in a new facility developed by Sisters of Mercy Health System, based in Chesterfield, Mo.

 

In addition to the ambulatory surgery center, the $88 million, 200,000-square-foot medical complex and wellness center will also include a walk-in clinic, imaging/women’s center and rehabilitation facilities.

 

The project broke ground in early 2011.
