University Orthopedics building facility with ASC in Rhode Island: 4 things to know

Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics is expanding through a new 88,500-square-foot building in East Providence, R.I., according to nerej.

Here are four things to know:

1. The four-story building will include an ASC in addition to exam rooms, treatment rooms, an MRI and an X-ray.

2. The facility’s providers will offer physical therapy services, as well.

3. Real estate firm Michael Integlia & Co. is leading the project.

4.  University Orthopedics CEO Weber Shill said East Providence “really worked hard to streamline the approval process and put all of their necessary resources to work for us to commit to this location.”
