What you should know:
1. Union Pines Surgery Center will offer 23:59 care.
2. The surgery center will also offer optional overnight stays in a separate but onsite “stay center.”
3. The new surgery center will feature eight operating rooms, two pain management rooms, 16 preoperative and postoperative patient rooms and five beds for 24-hour stays.
4. The stay center will have 11 overnight rooms, a lobby, a cafe and a conference room.
5. The new surgery center will allow Tulsa Bone & Joint Associates the opportunity to perform joint replacement and adult reconstruction procedures, among other orthopedic procedures.
6. Tulsa Bone & Joint Associates entered into a joint venture with Tulsa, Okla.-based St. John Medical Center for the project.
