Columbus-based The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking approval to expand its ambulatory care network by building a large outpatient care center in Dublin, Ohio.

What you should know:

1. The proposed outpatient care center will consolidate several OSU practices in Dublin to one central location.

2. The clinic will offer primary and specialty care, lab testing and imaging services.

3. The proposal will go in front of the university's trustees this week for approval.

4. If approved, OSU will begin the process to acquire 34 acres of land owned by the city of Dublin.

5. OSU is still determining the project's cost and timeline.
