Texas town approves oral surgery center — 3 insights

The Denison Planning and Zoning Commission approved plans for a maxillofacial and oral surgery center near Denison, Texas-based Texoma Medical Center, the Herald Democrat reports.

What you should know:

1. The building will feature 5,500-square-feet of medical office space and a 1,500-square-foot space for an additional tenant. The surgery center is being developed by Design-Build Evolutions.

2. Design-Build Evolutions has not revealed who the tenant is.

3. The surgery center will complement existing medical-focused development in Denison. The center will be near skilled nursing, medical and assisted living developments.
