Tennessee health department delays TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center’s application to move ASC

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., filed a certificate of need application to relocate its surgery center, but the Tennessee Health Services and Development Agency has postponed the application, according to a report by The Tennessean.

The state agency also recently denied the medical center’s request to build a freestanding emergency department near Brentwood, Tenn.
