Four updates:

1. To minimize maintenance needs and care interruptions, Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health renovated the ASC’s floors, doors, ceilings, furniture and artwork; made upgrades to the heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and electrical and plumbing systems; and installed LED surgical lighting and fixtures.

2. The renovations were also intended to improve patient experience at the ASC, which features four operating rooms and one procedure room.

3. Bristol Surgery Center’s physicians specialize in orthopedics, spine, ENT, pain management and podiatry services. They also perform pediatric and sports medicine surgeries at the ASC.

4. The surgeons will continue treating patients at Bristol Regional Medical Center, where they serve on the medical staff.
