Tampa General Hospital, Florida Hospital to build ASC

Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital and Florida Hospital in Orlando have created the jointly owned non-profit company West Florida Health. West Florida Health will begin construction on a 100,000-square-foot clinic this year in Tampa, according to a report by The Tampa Tribune.

The new facility will house an ambulatory surgery center, freestanding emergency department, physician offices, imaging services and physical therapy services.
