Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center initiates $16.5M expansion

Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center in Santa Cruz, Calif., has begun a $16.5 million expansion and remodel project, according to a Santa Cruz Sentinel report.

The project, financed by Sutter Health, will include the addition of two operating rooms and a new procedure room for ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT, general surgery, urology and plastic surgery procedures.

The project is expected to reach completion in October 2015.
