SurgCenter Development completes 20,000th TJR; Medical Facilities Corp. shares fall 5% since Britt Reynolds’ departure & more

Here are five updates on ASC management companies to note from the past week.

Medical Facilities Corp. President and CEO Britt T. Reynolds left the company. Following the news, the company’s shares fell by more than 5 percent.

Hospital Corporation of America shares traded at $83.39 per share during the week of June 12 to June 16, a 0.05 percent increase.

SurgCenter Development completed its 20,000th joint replacement since launching its joint replacement program in 2013. In 2016, SurgCenter centers performed approximately 7,000 joint replacements.

For the first quarter, Envision Healthcare revenues grew 5 percent in its physician services division.

During the week of June 12 to June 16, Tenet Healthcare shares jumped 1.4 percent, trading at $18.21 per share.
