Skyline Surgery Center forms joint venture with 3 local hospitals: 3 details

Physician owners of Skyline Surgery Center partnered with Pocatello-based Portneuf Medical Center, Blackfoot-based Bingham Memorial Hospital and Idaho Falls-based Mountain View Hospital to form a joint venture. All facilities are based in Idaho.

Key details to know:

1. The joint venture is intended to expand services for patients, said Jeff Stucki, DO, president of Pocatello-based Skyline Surgery Center.

2. Jake Erickson, CEO of Bingham Healthcare, said the partnership means more patients from Eastern Idaho suited for outpatient surgery will be able to take advantage of a more cost-effective surgical option.

3. “The collaboration between our three hospitals and the excellent surgeons involved in Skyline brings together the best healthcare minds in the region to provide the quality and value that will benefit the community for years to come,” said James Adamson, CEO of Mountain View Hospital.
