Surgical Care Affiliates, an Optum company, made an equity investment in a Portland, Ore.-based ASC in partnership with Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services.

Ambulatory Management Solutions, a turnkey anesthesia solutions provider in outpatient healthcare facilities, launched an ambulatory anesthesia management company, Plus Anesthesia.

Oppenheimer issued a new report on Envision Healthcare, predicting first quarter 2018 earnings of $0.51 per share.

Former Envision Healthcare senior executive Eric Beck, DO, joined Cleveland-based University Hospitals as president of its venture arm, UH Ventures.

HCA Healthcare’s shares were up 4.3 percent to $97.06 per share between Jan. 22 and Jan. 26, 2018.
