Saint Vincent Hospital to consolidate outpatient services — 4 details

Erie, Pa.-based Saint Vincent Hospital will expand its outpatient women's services and relocate them to a building north of the hospital, GoErie.com reports.

Here's what you should know:

1. The new Saint Vincent Women's Center will include services currently offered at the hospital's Women's Care Center, as well as offices for physicians specializing in breast surgery, breast reconstruction, women's rehabilitation and OB-GYN services.

2. The office is expected to open "in the next few weeks," according to Saint Vincent President Chris Clark, DO.

3. The hospital also has a cancer center under construction. At the new AHN Cancer Institute at Saint Vincent, outpatient care will be delivered in the same place as inpatient care.

4. Saint Vincent plans to complete a $115 million expansion of its emergency department and operating rooms in 2019.
