Roanoke Valley Center for Sight, Vistar Eye Center open ASC — 4 key notes

Salem, Va.-based Roanoke Valley Center for Sight and Salem-based Vistar Eye Center opened an ASC and medical building in Roanoke, Va., the Roanoke Star reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The center celebrated its grand opening on Aug. 29.

2. The ASC will offer oculoplastics, facial cosmetics and refractive procedures. Physicians will diagnose and treat retina conditions.

3. This is Roanoke Valley Center for Sight’s second clinical location. RVCS opened its first ASC in 2001.

4. The center is now accepting patients. The ASC will begin performing eye plastic surgery and vitreoretinal surgery cases this fall.
