Rex Healthcare will retain its majority stake the facility but the physicians will be involved in operational decisions.

The ASC currently performs about 3,250 cases annually, and the addition of the new physician group could increase that number by 2,000 cases, according to the report.

Surgical services offered at the surgery center include gynecology, plastic surgery, ENT and orthopedics, according to the ASC’s website.
