Regent Surgical Health promotes Matt Lau to CFO

Regent Surgical Health promoted Matt Lau to Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Lau was previously controller at Regent Surgical Health. He has been with the company for seven years, and will now take the place of Mike Karnes as CFO. Mr. Lau has been senior financial analyst for PainCare America and Option Care.

Mr. Karnes will continue to serve on the Regent Surgical Health board, and a representative of the Regent board to Midland Surgical Health.

Mr. Karnes is also serving as a special advisor to the boards of these surgery centers:

• Illinois Sports Medicine in Morton Grove
• Ravine Way Surgery Center in Glenview
• Center for Specialized Surgery in Fort Myers

He will also continue assisting Regent centers in implementing three to five year growth plans, including moving total joint replacements to partner centers.
