Regent Surgical Health names Chris Bishop CEO: 5 points

Regent Surgical Health recently named Chris Bishop CEO.

Here are five points:

1. In his new role, Mr. Bishop will oversee the surgery center management company's daily operations, as well as Regent's global partnerships.

2. Mr. Bishop will also work to ensure Regent's long-term growth while also driving the company's roll of new outpatient services lines, such as outpatient joint replacement through bundled payment initiatives.

3. Mr. Bishop joined Regent in 2015, and has since worked to spur company growth.

4. Mr. Bishop will replace Tom Mallon, Regent's co-founder, as CEO. Mr. Mallon will stay on as the company's board chairman.

5. Regent Health is in partnership with 23 ASCs throughout the United States and Europe.

"We cannot say enough about Chris' leadership and his integrity," said Mr. Mallon. "During the past year as president, he has brought tremendous value to everyone in our organization, from our staff to our physicians and hospital partners."
