Avondale-based Integrated Surgical Center of Arizona has partnered with Nashville, Tenn.-based Regent Surgical.
Integrated Surgical Center of Arizona is led by three physician groups: IMS Care, Arizona’s largest independent multispecialty physician group; AZ Heart Arrhythmia Associates, a cardiac electrophysiology specialist group; and Valley GI Consultants, a gastroenterology practice, according to an Aug. 25 news release from Regent Surgical.
Through the partnership, the two organizations will expand outpatient cardiovascular and specialty surgical care across Arizona.
“ISCA represents the type of physician-led platform we believe can meaningfully expand access to outpatient specialty care,” Travis Messina, CEO of Regent Surgical, said in the release. “With an established multispecialty foundation and significant opportunity in cardiovascular care, we see tremendous potential to build on what these physicians have created and expand the center’s impact across the Phoenix market.”
Regent Surgical is a developer and operator of ASCs, managing more than 25 facilities.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
