Real estate conglomerate purchases shopping center with surgery center — 4 insights

Three real estate development groups purchased the Round Hill Square Shopping Center, which is home to South Lake Tahoe, Calif.-based Barton Health Lake Tahoe Surgery Center, Tahoe Daily Tribune reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The shopping center is 96.8 percent occupied.

2. It was listed for $32.35 million but sold for $28 million.

3. Real estate groups Round Hill SC, Davidson Retail I and Davidson Retail II split ownership. Davidson Retail II is the majority owner with a 44 percent stake.

4. The center’s tenants are not expected to change.
