RadNet is the largest outpatient medical imaging company in the country.
What you should know:
1. RadNet will absorb Kern Radiology and restructure the practice’s leadership.
2. RadNet affiliate Girish Patel, MD, commented on the deal saying, “Patients will get better services because there will be more physicians around. Even with similar physicians, we can, you know, divide the workload better.” Dr. Patel sold his practice to RadNet in 2010. He was not involved in the RadNet, Kern deal.
3. RadNet has 341 locations, 500 radiologists and more than 7,000 employees.
4. The future of Kern Radiology was not yet discussed, Bakersfield.com reports.
