Here’s what you should know:

1. The surgery center is a joint venture between Sellersville, Pa.-based Grand View Health and Grand View Health Medical Staff surgeons.

2. The center has four operating rooms, 10 preoperative and postoperative recovery bays and waiting areas.

3. Center surgeons specialize in podiatry, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, general surgery, gynecology, ENT and orthopedics.

4. The hospital will shift its less intensive surgeries to the center.
