Pennsylvania independent practice acquired by MSO

Newtown, Pa.-based DermDox Group has acquired Modern Aesthetics Plastic Surgery, a three-location aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery practice in Pennsylvania, according to a June 22 news release.

The acquisition adds plastic surgery and advanced aesthetic services to DermDox Group’s existing dermatology platform, which includes medical dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic dermatology. 

The acquired locations in Newtown, King of Prussia and New Hope will retain their name and continue under the direction of Robert Skalicky, MD. Financial terms were not disclosed.
